Guard Tablet App

MyGatekeeper

Every visitor is logged before the gate opens.

MyGatekeeper replaces the guardhouse logbook with a tablet app that registers visitors, contractors and deliveries, checks them against resident invites and keeps a searchable record for the MCST.

Key Features

What MyGatekeeper does

  1. 01

    Expected visitor list

Pre-registered guests from MyHaus appear on the tablet, so invited visitors pass through with one scan.

  2. 02

    Resident approval by push

Walk-in visitors are approved by the resident on their phone, with the intercom as a fallback.

  3. 03

    Contractor permits

Renovation contractors are checked against approved permits, working hours and the units they may access.

  4. 04

    Parcel logging

Officers photograph and shelve parcels, and residents get a collection notice with a pickup code.

  5. 05

    PDPA-aligned records

No NRIC numbers are stored. Visitor details are kept only for the retention period the MCST sets.

  6. 06

    Shift handover notes

Officers log incidents and pending items so the next shift sees them on the same tablet.

FAQ

Common questions

Do we still need to collect NRIC numbers?

No. Under PDPC guidelines, organisations should not collect full NRIC numbers for visitor registration. MyGatekeeper records name, mobile number, photo and purpose instead.

What happens if the tablet loses connection?

Entries are queued on the tablet and gate controllers keep working from their local cache. Everything syncs once the connection is restored.

Can the security agency use its own officers?

Yes. Officers log in with their own PIN, and every action is attributed to them, which helps both the agency and the MCST during audits.

How are deliveries handled?

Riders can be given a short lobby-only pass by the resident, or the officer logs the parcel at the guardhouse and notifies the resident to collect.
